Background and Information

The Astak Mole is a network camera released in 2009 for social networking and security purposes. It is wifi-enabled, and can be controlled from any smartphone over the internet. It utilizes built-in motion detection, and will send notificaitons via Twitter or email if it detects movement. It can be remotely controlled to adjust the pan & tilt angles, and monitor/record video from anywhere in the world.

This is the first generation of the "Mole" model. Compare the model number on the base of the camera with the one on the manufacturer's website to confirm.
