The Asus N76VZ is a 17-inch laptop released in 2012. Internally, this laptop is quite similar to the N76VM, so you can likely use repair guides interchangeably between the two machines. Either way, the N76VZ has a large screen with a resolution of 1600x900 pixels or 1920x1080 pixels. The chassis is made from aluminum and plastic with a silver and black design aesthetic. Internally, the laptop utilizes a 3rd-generation Intel Core i7 processor paired with an Nvidia graphics card.
Like many other Asus laptops from the time, the N76VZ has easily-accessible components. The battery is held at the back of the laptop by a single latch. A cover on the bottom is held in place by a single Phillips screw and once removed gives you access to the laptop’s two memory slots and two hard drive bays.
