The BlackBerry 8820 was released in July 2007 with trackball navigation, wi-fi access, and external memory storage. This device is only compatible with GSM networks. The BlackBerry 8820 comes with a GPS, media player, organizer, document viewer, and voice dial. The device is equipped with a 1400 mAh Li-Ion battery giving a stand-by up to 520 hours or talk time up to 5 hours. If the phone turns on, you can verify your device is the 8820 by navigating to "Device Options" in your phone and clicking "About".
