Background and Identification

The Casio LK-170 is one of the many musical instruments created by Casio. This model has a key lighting system and is the third model out of six in the Key Lighting Keyboard series.

This version included more built-in tones and rhythms than the previous models, as well as a higher maximum polyphony. The LK-170 has not faced extreme manufacturer recalls, and has favorable reviews.

There are several ways to differentiate this model from other ones in the series:

  • The model number LK-170 is located on the front of the piano above the display.
  • Both the body and the control panel have a black finish.
  • The lettering on the control panel is blue and white.
