Background and Identification
Announced on January 7th, 2013, the Fujifilm X20 is a digital compact camera from Fujifilm and is available in two colors, the original black seen in the X10 and a new black and silver body. As the successor to the Fujifilm X10, the Fujifilm X20 shares the same lens as the X10. However, the X20 has an X-Trans pattern on its sensor instead of the EXR color filter. Another upgrade in the X20 is that the new sensor supports phase detection autofocus. Also, the X20 saw upgrades in the image processor and the viewfinder, which went from being a simple tunnel viewfinder to including an information overlay with focusing confirmation and exposure data. Moreover, the X20 has a focus peaking on the rear display. According to Fujifilm, theX20 has "the world's fastest autofocus speed in its class", with a focusing time as little as 0.06 seconds.
As for its video capabilities, the X20 can record video at 1080p (FullHD) resolution at 60 frames per second. Additionally, the X20 has a hybrid autofocus that refocuses automatically during video capture.
