Background and Identification

The HP Chromebook 11 G2, released in April 2014, includes a Samsung Exynos 5250 Dual Processor and an Intel Celeron N3060 Microprocessor. There are 4 GB of onboard memory and 16GB of hard drive memory (users expected to rely on Cloud and Google Drive storage). It has Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity and an integrated VGA webcam. The operating system is Chrome OS 64 bit and the only pre-installed software is Google Drive. The laptop is 1.34 kg and 11.81 x 8.1 x 0.81 in, and features an 11.6” diagonal WLED backlit screen with integrated Intel HD Graphics 400. It has one micro-USB slot, one headphone/microphone jack, two USB 2.0 slots, and one security lock slot.

In December 2013, Google and HP recalled their Chromebook 11 G1 chargers due to fire and burn hazards. In 2014, they released the Chromebook 11 G2 with an updated charger.
