Background and Identification

Released in 2011, the Kinivo ZX100 Mini Portable speaker is circular in shape. Three buttons, one on each leg and the last leg for the brand name, respectively control the volume up, volume down and power on/off. The center of the device consists of a moveable resonator, that can rise and collapse on the twist of the component.

The Kinivo ZX100 Mini Portable speaker is compatible with any device that possess a 3.5 mm audio jack. The device can be charged for wireless usage through its usb charging port. Unlike Kinivo's very similar device the BTX110 Wireless Bluetooth Mini Portable Speaker, the ZX100 does not have bluetooth capabilities. Unlike some of Kinivo's other devices, the ZX100 does not have capabilities to perform a factory reset, a simple power cycle is the extent of its capabilities. The same model is available in a variety of colors such as grey/green, grey/purple, grey/orange, grey/yellow, and grey/pink.
