Background and Identification

The Extreme 3D Pro is a video gaming joystick released by Logitech in 2004. This joystick is easily identifiable by the marking on the base of the device, EXTREME 3D PRO, and X3D. The base also has six programmable buttons that can be mapped for any use, as well as a throttle lever that sits on the front of the device. There is also five more programmable buttons on the top of the joystick, four of which are on the top face and one of them rests on the side as a thumb button. The top face also has a small directional input stick that has eight input directions. This joystick is powered by a USB connected directly to a PC.
