Background and Identification

Produced by Motorola, the Moto C is a smartphone made mainly for emerging markets as a low-end phone. It was released on May 1, 2017, and was aimed to offer reasonable specs at a low price in an attempt to compete with Chinese manufacturers that offer low cost smartphones.

Its design features a 5-inch display, a 1.1 GHz quad-core processor, 1 GB of RAM , a 5MP rear camera, 2MP front camera, a 2,350 mAh battery, 4G connectivity, and Android 7. Users can choose between three colors: Metallic Cherry, Fine Gold, and Starry Black. Its cover is made of plastic and is removable. Volume controls and the on/off button are located on the right side of the case with firm pressure points.

Positive aspects of the Moto C include its bright IPS panel, its dual-SIM, SD card expansion, and the battery runtime. However, negatives include average camera performance and the long charge time.
