Background and Identification

The Motorola Moto E5 Play is one of the three submodels (E5 Play, E5 and E5 Plus) from the Moto E family of Android smartphones manufactured by Motorola Mobility LLC. They were released in 2018. The Moto E4 preceded the Moto E5 series in 2017, and its successor, the Moto E6, was released in March 2020. It has a black, lightweight case with a water repellent coating (though it can’t handle full immersion in water). It also has a removable back cover which allows you to replace the battery, access the SIM card, or upgrade the microSD. It offers a 5.2” LCD screen and runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 or 427 processor. The phone will support up to a 128GB of microSD storage. Some complaints have been made about its short battery life.
