Background and Identification
In October of 2019, Motorola teased the unveiling of their heavily-rumored foldable Android smartphone, a modern recreation of their iconic Razr from the early 2000’s. On November 13th, the Razr was officially announced. Sporting mid-range specs but an eye-catching design, the new Razr is poised to usher in the future of foldable smartphones. Holding it back, however, is its eye-watering $1500 price tag as well as the waning shadow of the incredibly fragile Samsung Galaxy Fold. Only time will tell if the new Razr will be able to recreate the craze of its namesake.
