The camera sends motion-triggered recordings to the cloud for later viewing up to 7 days. The Arlo comes equipped with infrared lights allowing for HD quality at night and during the day. The Arlo is waterproof and can operate in temperatures ranging from 14°F to 122°F.
Complaints about the device are mainly concerning battery life during cold weather and the lack of audio recording capabilities.
Other problems users experienced was that the camera's easily disconnected and did not have the advertised 300 foot range (only under certain circumstances with few objects in the way).
