Identification and Background

Released in 2003, the Clie pda boasted PalmOS 5.2 and a small, sleek design. Strongly resembling a shrunken laptop, Sony's Clie is extremely solid but not too heavy or bulky. It features a full keyboard, flip/rotating screen, PDF and powerpoint support, speakers, WiFi, and a landscape 480x320 pixel screen. With an included digital camera, this pda was a glimpse into the future of today's phones. Though it is just like any other phone today, at the time, there was nothing else like it.
