Identification and Background

The Cyber-shot DSC-HX1 still digital camera was released by Sony in April 2009, as the first digital camera with a sweep panorama mode, which allows one to achieve pictures of 224 degrees. It includes a wide angle G-lens and 20x optical zoom that enables the photographer to capture high resolution shots. The ability to take ten frames a second with the camera's 9.1- megapixel sensor allows the photographer to capture a large variety of actions. The camera's scene detection feature automatically adjusts to assist the photographer in achieving the capture of the natural light.
