Background and Identification

The Sony Cyber Shot DSC WX80 is a discontinued digital compact camera released in 2013 and currently retailing for $149.99.

Like most compact digital cameras the Sony DSC WX80 uses electronic technology to sense and digitize images and store them in a digital format. The compact size is convenient and along with good quality images produced makes the camera a good choice for average consumers. Most of the features other than the zoom option are software driven so there are few moving parts. Besides battery maintenance, as long as you keep the camera clean and don’t drop it, this type of device will give long life and produce unlimited photographic images.
