Introduction
As a rule of thumb, it is best practice to replace the timing belt and water pump together every 60k miles.
Part 1 is only needed if you are looking to replace only the water pump.
Since the timing cover is off and there is easy access, consider replacing both idlers, tensioner, accessory belts, thermostat and hose.

Loosen up the idler pulley by getting underneath the car and removing the 12mm bolt at the bottom of the idler pulley .

- When lining up the camshafts, make sure to align the notches with the backplate, as well as the small arrow and dot on the bottom
- It is important to get all the old gasket off to prevent leaks.
