Introduction

For my Fast Fix Project, I would like to propose repairing a cabin air filter in a 2012 Honda Civic EX. If your car has a odor, or the air seems to not flow through the vents as you once remembered or maybe when you turn the air on in your car you start to have allergic reactions. You may need to change your cabin air filter.

    • Open the front passenger side door.

    • Open the glove compartment box.

    • Make sure the glove compartment is empty.

    • Find the black pin on the side of the glove compartment and push it in with a spudger.

    • The glove compartment will fall onto floor of the car.

    • Push the sides of the cabin air filter cover to reveal the filter.

    • Remove the cabin air filter.

    • Replace with new air cabin filter.

    • Put the air filter cover back on.
