Introduction

Use this guide to replace the scroll wheel when it starts to glitch when scrolling, or unresponsive. Follow step by step to replace the wheel.

    • Start off by removing the front of the mouse and put it aside.

    • Then remove the left and right click buttons by pinching the laches together and carefully removing them.

    • then remove the two screws with Phillip #00.

    • Flip the mouse over and remove the adhesive carefully.

    • Then remove the two screws using torx T5

    • Carefully remove the top and put it aside.

    • Remove the 4 screws with Phillip #00

    • Remove the two black tabs by lifting them carefully and removing the white slip.

    • Carefully remove the green slip by moving the tabs and holding it outwards.

    • Remove the battery (optional).

    • Remove the screw and remove the side button.

    • Right underneath is another screw to remove for the second side button.

    • Remove all 3 screws around the scroll wheel to be able to detach the tab holding the scroll wheel.

    • Remove it from the mouse.

    • Put the mouse aside and remove the black tab on the side of the scroll wheel.

    • Right after removing the scroll wheel from the plastic tab and from there, you can take the scroll wheel off.
