All you will need is a Phillips #0 screwdriver and a plastic opening tool. It is an easy process and should not take much longer than 10 minutes. Enjoy!

Flip the laptop over so that the backside of the laptop is facing upwards.

Use the Phillips #0 screwdriver to remove the twelve 5 mm screws that secure the bottom cover.

Insert a plastic opening tool into the opening between the bottom and top cover. Gently work your way around the perimeter of the case, and pry the two halves apart until the back cover is free from the laptop.

Peel back the black layer of tape, ensuring that you do not peel it off all the way.

Use a plastic opening tool to gently remove the connector from the port.
