This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to replace the RAM in an HP Envy TouchSmart m6-k025dx Sleekbook. If your laptop's system is beginning to slow down, you may need to upgrade the RAM in your device. This is an easy task, and you do not need any tools besides a screwdriver.

Flip the laptop over so that the backside of the laptop is facing upwards.

Remove the twelve 5 mm screws that hold the back cover in place.

Insert a plastic opening tool into the opening between the bottom and top cover. Gently work your way around the perimeter of the case, and pry the two halves apart until the back cover is free from the laptop.

Identify the location of the RAM in the right-hand side of the laptop. For this device, it will be located above the battery.

Gently press on the clips located on either side of the RAM stick.

Press downward on the clips until you feel the RAM stick start to come loose.

The RAM stick will pop out. Carefully pull it free to remove it from the laptop.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
