Introduction
The ZBook 15u G2 comes pre-installed with 8GB of device memory. However, the HP ZBook 15u G2 can be installed with an extra 8GB of device memory for a total 16GB of storage space. Follow the guide to add in additional storage.

Flip the laptop on its side and flip the switch at the top so the red side is visible.

Slide off the back panel as shown.

Once the back panel is removed, flip the 2 switches located on the battery so the red is visible.

Lift the battery out of the device by pulling up on the tab located between the two switches at the top of the battery.

After removing the back panel and battery, locate where the solid state drive (SSD) is located. For this device model, the SSD is located above the hard drive and is circled in red.

Adding in an SSD card: If the device does not come with an SSD card, remove the new module from its package. The picture device did not come with an SSD card.

Once removed from the package, align the metal teeth of the SSD card at an angle and gently press the card in place.

Once the SSD card is firmly in place, take the screw to the SSD card. Remove the screws with a 2mm Phillips head screwdriver to lock the module in place.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
