Introduction

The button board can be easily pulled off without damaging the device. The only tool you need is a #00 Philips screwdriver.

    • Open the flip cover so that the tab on the back is easy to access.

    • Place the Visor Edge face down.

    • Identify the tab connecting the flip cover to the PDA located at the top of the backside.

    • Gently push the tab forward.

    • Do not pull on the flip cover in an attempt to remove it from the PDA.

    • Remove the six 4.1 mm Phillips screws from the back plate using the #00 Phillips Scewdriver.

    • Remove the gray back plate from the PDA.

    • Remove the four 2.6 mm Philips screws that are on the sides of the frame.

    • Remove the 3.9 mm Philips screw holding the stylus holster to the frame.

    • Remove the four 2.6 mm Philips screws on the top and bottom of the frame.

    • Remove the white frame from the back of the PDA.

    • The frame may get stuck on the corners so be very gentle when working the corners off.

    • Pull off front cover gently.

    • Remove buttons by hand, they should come off easily.
