Introduction

Welcome to this guide on how to unpair a Map SD Card from a Mitsubishi MMCS NR-242, specifically for Versions W-11 and W-12. The MMCS (Mitsubishi Multi Communication System) is a built-in navigation and entertainment system that is commonly found in Mitsubishi vehicles. It uses an SD card to store map data, which allows drivers to navigate and find their way to their desired destination.

However, there may come a time when you need to unpair the Map SD Card from the MMCS, perhaps to update the map data, to create a backup or to use the SD card in another device. In this guide, we will take you through the steps required to unpair the Map SD Card from the MMCS NR-242.

Please note that this guide is only applicable to MMCS NR-242 versions W-11 and W-12. If you have a different version, you need a special unlocking tool.
