Locate the tab on the battery compartment.

Pull the tab upward and remove the cover.

Remove the batteries.

Locate these 5 screws on the bottom of the device.

Remove the screws with the screwdriver.

Grasp the top and bottom and gently pull apart.

Speaker will come out with a firm tug from its seated position.

Remove speaker from alarm clock.
