Introduction

If you have a cracked or damaged lens then it's best to replace it so your photos are crystal clear again. Follow this guide to do it yourself!

Before you begin, download the Rescue and Smart Assistant app to backup your device and diagnose whether your problem is software or hardware related.

    • Place your thumb in the indent located at bottom left corner of the back cover.

    • The cover will pop up and begin to lift

    • Continue to slide your fingers up the sides to remove the back cover

    • Remove the gray plastic surrounding the camera lens with a pair of tweezers.

    • There will be a lot of glue and you may have to pull hard on the plastic piece

    • Slide a pair of tweezers under and around the lens to loosen it.

    • Pulls the lens towards you to remove.

    • There will be glue under the lens. You may have to pull hard to remove the lens

    Sharp crisp photos again! Really easy.

    I bought a set with other tools that made easier to remove the old lens. In my case was really stuck.
