Step 1

Remove the rubber cover from the bottom of the speaker using your opening tool.
However, this will make it much harder to place the rubber cover back where it was and may not stick, but it is unnecessary for the speaker to function.

Step 2

Get your Philips 0 bit screwdriver and remove the 4 screws attached to the cover and then remove the cover with the opening tool that you used for the rubber cover.

Remove all the screws using the same screwdriver to remove the final layers to open up the inside.

After opening the Philips speaker, remove the battery from the motherboard.
The cable that connects the battery to the speaker is attached to small pins. You can use your hands to wiggle the battery out.
