This manual will show you how to correctly remove wheels, change bearings, and install new wheels onto your skateboard.

You may reuse old bearings, or purchase new ones.

    • Position the wheel at the end of the axle.

    • To remove the bearings, gently pry the wheel at a downward angle.

    • Perform this prying process on both sides of the wheel.

    • A bearing spacer should fall out once the bearings are removed.

  3. nAHajWIDsN5gLnxo
    • Position the new wheel on a flat surface.

    • Press the bearing into the hole of the new wheel.

    • Press firmly until the bearing snaps into place. The bearing's outside edges should be flush with the inside bottom edge of the wheel.

    • Insert the bearing spacer into the back the wheel.

  5. JvO3iMkcO6iOOESg

    • With the bearings in place, the wheel can be placed on the axle.

  6. DXdK54hrCsJpt1bY
    • Slide one washer onto the axle.

  7. wpmCc4SJKG6Pr2ET
    • Slide the wheel onto the axle.

    • The axle should go through both bearings and the bearing spacer.

  8. 4p2vcLdWgTCLAFZL
    • Slide the second washer onto the axle on the outside of the wheel.

  9. AhOkjMtIjMYTY2Xd
    • Tighten the axle nut firmly.

    • Do not over tighten. The wheel should spin freely.

    • Repeat steps 1-9 for the remaining wheels.

Conclusion

Once your wheels are installed, you can ride your skateboard. If you feel your wheels hitting the bottom of your deck when you are turning, you may want to refer to the Wheel Bite Prevention guide.
