Introduction

All musical instruments have to undergo repairs at points throughout their useful life. In this case, broken tuning pegs on a ukulele affect the tuning of the strings and therefore cause its sound to lose accuracy.

This guide describes how to fasten new tuning pegs to the fret board of a ukulele. Skills needed are basic motor skills and ability to use a screwdriver. New tuning pegs can be purchased online or in your local music store.
