Projects

I love to get hands-on experience with projects. Currently, I am volunteering at a local museum to maintain and restore World War II and Cold War era aircraft. The most rewarding part of the job is when you are finally complete with a project and able to see the work of everyone come together.

Another notable project I participated in was creating the eSprit of St. Louis. The objective of this project was to create an electric, single-engine aircraft capable of quiet operation. I was responsible for the prototype radiator mounting assembly as well as soldering the batteries that would eventually be installed on the aircraft.

Hobbies

A favorite past time of mine is to learn about military aircraft and armored vehicles of the past. I have visited numerous air museums to experience them first hand.

Researching documents and testimonies of their performance is a great way to learn about the aircraft and the people who flew them.

Experience

I love to modify and explore the things I have to squeeze every ounce of performance out of them. Things like rooting, jailbreaking, and participating in beta tests. My most recent project was changing the hinge tension on my Dell XPS 15 by disassembling the screen as well as repasting the GPU and CPU for better temperatures.

When something breaks, I am more inclined to fix it myself than have someone else repair it. Not only do I save money but I also find it rather enjoyable to work on my own possessions than have someone else work on them.
