- School: York University
- Major— Information Technology. Since I was in high school, I am already inclined towards computers. I remember I first built a desktop computer when I was first year high school and I love doing it. I also like coding. I started when I was gradeschool and on our computer class we learned a funny language called html and made a webpage.
- Aspirations— My dream is to become a software engineer on famous companies like google, apple, facebook, amazon, or IBM. It would be a difficult path and a lot of studying, but I guess there’s nothing that can be achieved with hardwork.
- Skills—I am trying my best to be a good programmer. I am becoming familiar now with Java, Python, and Javascript. These three are always on the top list of most popular programming language to learn so I am trying to master it.
- Projects/accomplishments— I have a website which is micahtanjay.com, and I will be adding web applications soon to it. It would probably be my portfolio resume in the future.
- Repair experience—I broke many things and I fixed many things before like simple things from mechanical pencils to computer parts and I also play guitar so if ever there’s a problem, google and youtube is my go to (and now ifixit).
- Accolades— When I was in high school, I won first place in adobe macromedia fireworks and web design the following year.
- Groups/memberships— I am a member of an honor society called Phi Theta Kappa.
- Hobbies—I like playing guitar, watch anime, and play PC games before doing my homework or studying for an exam.
- How does this project relate to you?—It is related to me as I just recently fixed my Pixel 2 camera lens glass. It is making me think about what I did to fix it in an organized way and at the same time I would be able to share it to others. I think it would help me be a better employee in the future in terms of being organized as I would be thinking of steps on how to fix my scratched Pixel 2 camera.
- Any other fun facts you’d like to add?—I have 2 cats, their name is nixe and russell. Nixie is a big brown fat cat, and russell is a cute black slim cat. They are both sisters. I love cats, but I am allergic to their dunder.
I play guitar and this is my electric guitar. The first cat is Nixie, the second one is Russell.
