Introduction
Hello! My name is Justin Kerr. I am a former chef turned engineering student.
Education
Currently, I'm enrolled in an engineering transfer program at Linn-Benton Community College. The end goal is to graduate from Oregon State University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. In the past, I have studied at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln with a focus on Computer Engineering before moving out to the pacific northwest.
Aspirations
In the future, I want to help evolve our world's current methods of green energy production (specifically with solar power production) and improve the efficiency of energy production. I'd also like to improve the manufacturing process by making it more sustainable and more affordable for use.
Repair Experience
I have a fair amount of experience repairing devices. Most of my experience revolves around mobile phone repairs, computer repairs, and power tool repairs. I've replaced Samsung phone screens, cameras, fingerprint sensors, batteries, charging ports, and motherboards. I've also built multiple desktop PC's and have repaired many Apple laptops and iMac desktops including screen replacements, RAM replacements, hard drive replacements/upgrades, and many more.
Hobbies
In my free time, I enjoy exploring the outdoors by hiking and photographing in state and national parks. I am also a woodworker and have built multiple pieces of furniture.
