• School: University of Massachusetts Dartmouth
  • Major: Computer Science
  • Aspirations: For my future I would like to work on computer networks. Working with computers is a passion of mine, and building and maintaining computers, servers, and networks is something I enjoy doing.
  • Skills: I have skills in programming with object oriented languages such as Java, and C++. I also have experience working with Cisco IOS and routers and switches; configuring IP tables, and firewalls. I also have worked with and deployed Docker containers.
  • Projects/accomplishments: In networking labs I have built computer networks using enterprise grade Cisco routers and switches. At home, I have used a Raspberry Pi as a home server with Docker to host a VPN, file server, and Firefox sync server.
  • Repair Experience: I have repaired and tinkered with many things over the years including PCs, laptops, and automobiles to name a few. I have built my own desktop PC using parts purchased online, I have repaired and upgraded laptop computers, and repaired brakes, suspension, and changed oil and air filters on cars that I've owned.
  • Hobbies: In my spare time I play video games, watch documentaries, and travel when I have time off from work and school. I enjoy learning new things, weather it be about technology, history, or experiences such as sight seeing.
  • The standard project I am doing relates to my major in computer science and will be a valuable opportunity to gain experience in writing technical documentation for future projects both in school, and in a career field.
