Ryan Friedman

Hi, I'm Ryan. I'm a student at the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth. I'm majoring in computer science. I love tearing into broken devices, understanding how they work, and repairing them. I hate just tossing something that's broken and would much rather try and repair it.

Some of my favorite projects of the past are disassembling a GameBoy Advanced, repairing a 44' Smart TV, and replacing screens on a couple of first generation iPhone SEs. My present project is a 1979 Galaxian arcade game!

I'm going to have a positive impact on the world with my computer science knowledge. I want my abilities to improve people's lives in some way. Even though I'm going into a field that won't professionally require me to take things apart and repair them, I plan to always be repairing things.
