Background
The Acer Aspire series was developed in 1999 by Acer Inc as a series of personal computers. Covering both desktop computers and laptops, the devices range from from essential to high performance use.
The Acer Aspire runs on a Dual-Core 1.6 GHz CPU with 4 GB of DDR2 SDRAM. It features 320 GB Hard Drive capacity for acceptable storage space. Boasting a widescreen display of 15.6 inches powered by an ATI Radeon HD 3200; the device can stream multimedia at 720p resolution. The 6 cell lithium ion battery has an average run time of 2.5 hours before needed a recharge.
The Acer Aspire series was replaced by the AcerPower series in 2002.
