Aorus is a subset of Gigabyte Technology. Gigabyte Technology primarily focuses on manufacturing motherboards, but Aorus is devoted to gaming equipment. Aorus sells motherboards, graphics cards, laptops, monitors, PC components, peripherals, and accessories.

The Aorus X7 v2 is a gaming laptop with a 17.3-inch liquid crystal display (LCD). It features an Intel Core i7-4860HQ Quad-Core processor and a hybrid Intel Iris Pro graphics card. The laptop includes 1.256 TB of installed storage capacity and features an array of ports, including three USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, one VGA port, and one Mini DisplayPort. It includes a user-facing webcam and a 200-Watt battery. The laptop features a standard backlit numeric notebook keyboard with a touchpad pointing device.
