Beats Electronics LLC (also called Beats by Dr. Dre, or Beats by Dre) is a consumer audio products manufacturer founded by music producer Dr. Dre. Since 2014, Beats has been an Apple subsidiary. Beats by Dre primarily focuses on headphones and speakers but also established Beats Music, a subscription-based streaming service.
Originally released in February of 2017, BeatsX is one of Dr. Dre’s many contributions to changing the wireless headphone world. BeatsX is neck-band style earbuds that can wirelessly connect to your phone or other devices to play music. These headphones are considered “wireless,” however, there is a cable connecting the two earbuds that have the charging lightning connector ports. They come with four different adaptable tips to keep them snug and cancel outside noise. They’re also magnetized to keep them close together when not in-ear.
