Background and identification
The Z115 Sure Shot Caption was manufactured and marketed by Canon in September 1993. At the time, it was considered to be a great camera. The camera introduced one of the earliest panorama picture-taking modes for public use. It was designed with a two tone color (silver and black) to give it a "sport look". It also has an aluminum front cover for higher durability.
The camera has a few features that made it stand out in 1993's camera market. It automatically focuses and flashes depending on the mode selected. The camera also has the ability to rewind the film automatically using a built in motor. The camera is powered with two 3 V lithium batteries. It also allows users to edit the time/date and gives them the choice to include a time-stamp on photos.
