Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E470

The Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E470 is a laptop that was designed for small/medium sized businesses that are used by professionals that need something reliable and efficient. The type of laptop model was introduced as part of the ThinkPad edge series. This series aims to blend business class and features with consumer oriented design elements.

The normal features of the ThinkPad Edge normally has a black matte finish and a durable build quality. As they were replaced around 2017, the E470 offered a lot of configuration for their computers. With intel core processors ( ranging from i3 to i7 ), up to 16GB of Ram, and with storage that could changed from an HDD to SDD. To wrap everything up the laptops also come with integrated Intel HD Graphics.

Like any electronic equipment, the ThinkPad Edge E470 is not impervious to possible problems despite its advantages. Common failure modes include overheating, gradual battery degradation, and hardware component failures, according to some customers' reports. Lenovo has not released any particular recalls for the E470.

This laptop was catered to tasks from everyday office work to more demanding applications like photo and video editing. The E470 have received successor with small improvements here and there and lead to their discontinuation in 2019 when Lenovo refresh its product lineup

The Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E470 is a professional-looking business laptop with a 14-inch display and ergonomic keyboard. It also has a trackpad with configurable buttons for the user’s convenience. The laptop has three USB ports, one HDMI port, an ethernet port, and a headphone jack for audio input and output.
