Background Information

The Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR Uhlenhaut Coupé is an iconic and rare sports car that embodies the pinnacle of automotive engineering. Created by Mercedes-Benz in the mid-1950s, this limited-production coupe is a road-legal version of the 300 SLR race car, bearing the name of Rudolf Uhlenhaut, the company's chief engineer.

Currently, there are only two of these cars in existence. Mercedes has preserved one Uhlenhaut Coupé on display at Mercedes' corporate museum at Bad Cannstatt in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. The second car was sold to a private collector in May 2022 for 141 million Euros ($142 million in USD).
