Founded in 1945, Saab Automobile AB is a Swedish manufacturer of luxury automobiles. In 2011, Saab filed for bankruptcy, but was later bought up by the Swedish holding company National Electric Vehicle Sweden. Saab is currently headquartered in Trollhättan, Sweden.
