Background
Samsung Galaxy Z is a series of premium foldable Android smartphones released by Samsung Electronics. Samsung released the first phone in the series, the Samsung Galaxy Fold, albeit not marketed under their “Z” brand, in 2019. Samsung's future foldable smartphones will be part of the Galaxy Z series going forwards. Other phones in the Samsung Galaxy Z series include the Z Flip, Z Fold2, Z Fold3, and Z Flip3. There is no Z Flip2.
Identification
Model numbers, serial numbers, and IMEI for some Samsung devices may be printed on the back of the device. If the device has a removable battery, this information can often be found printed in the battery compartment. You can also find the phone's model name and number by navigating to the Settings or Options menu, finding the ‘About Phone,’ ‘About Device,’ or other similar option, and the device name and model number should be listed.
