The Volkswagen ID.6 is an all-electric mid-size crossover SUV produced by the German automaker Volkswagen, exclusively available in the Chinese market. It is part of Volkswagen's ID. series, which is dedicated to electric vehicles (EVs) and represents a significant step in Volkswagen's push towards electrification.
Production of the ID.6 commenced in China in 2021. Under this endeavor, the FAW-Volkswagen partnership is responsible for manufacturing and promoting the ID.6 Crozz, while SAIC-Volkswagen is overseeing the production and marketing of the ID.6 X, featuring subtle styling variations.
As of April 2021, the ID.6 is the largest vehicle of the Volkswagen ID. series, and the largest built on the MEB platform as well.
