Background and Identifications

Released in 2013, the Withings Body Cardio is a Wi-Fi smart scale with abilities to measure body composition and heart rate. Users can receive a comprehensive picture of their health in a one-step process. Body Cardio provides users with accurate weight, BMI, body fat and water percentage, and muscle and bone mass. Moreover, users can track their cardiovascular health through the heart rate function. With insight into body composition, users can better target their fitness efforts.

Withings encourages the use of the Body Cardio with its compatible app, the Health Mate, which coaches users with tips and encouragement to aid them in reaching their goals. All weigh-ins are recorded on the Health Mate app automatically, via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth sync.
