ZTE Prestige 2

This device is the ZTE Prestige 2, a prepaid smartphone made by Boost Mobile, Inc. It was developed by ZTE USA, inc., the fourth largest smartphone supplier in the United States. Its major features include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 MSM8909 processor, 2GB RAM, up to 32GB of external memory support storage, 5.0-inch FWVGA display (480 x 854 pixels), 5-megapixel camera, and a removable 2,000 mAh lithium-ion battery. The device was released on April 4, 2017, and is still available for purchase at select BestBuy outlets around the country with a selling price set around $40-$50. This device has no known failure modes or manufacturer recalls, however, there are some particular components that tend to malfunction such as the screen freezing, mail or internet being inaccessible, unstable after an application is installed, battery level goes down quickly, cannot install applications, and cannot unlock the screen.

This device has received both good and poor reviews. Some of the widespread complaints include the device operating slow, not being compatible with what the user wanted it for, and falling apart within a year. On the other hand, some of the widespread praises include its affordability, its usability, and it is a great choice for a starter phone. This device replaced the original ZTE Prestige by adding a higher megapixel camera, HD video, and larger internal memory. The ZTE Prestige 2 was the last model created in its series.
