No prior knowledge is needed to be known before replacing the interior lights of the car. All that is needed is a screwdriver and replacement light bulbs. The process is about 10 minutes for the whole replacement.

Use the screwdriver to carefully remove the plastic cover.

Insert the screwdriver between the light cover and plastic sides and slowly move the screwdriver back and forth until the light cover becomes loose.

Use the flathead to help remove the light. Position the screwdriver between one end of the light and terminal.

Gently move the screwdriver downwards until the interior light detaches from the battery terminals.

Slide one end of the replacement light against one terminal and push down delicately until the light is secure in place.

With the clips positioned upwards, move the plastic cover towards the light. Secure the cover back to its original position by applying a small force at the ends where the clips are.
