The owner's manual recommends that your spark plugs are changed approximately every 30,000 miles.

Use a flathead screwdriver to remove the two screws holding the engine cover in place.

Remove the engine cover.

Locate the four spark plug connectors.

Insert a screwdriver into the space in the wire connector and lift the lid.

Locate the bolt securing the ignition coil.
-
Use a wrench with a 10 mm socket to remove the bolt securing the ignition coil.

Once the bolt is removed, pull out the ignition coil.

Locate the old spark plug.

Use a wrench with a spark plug socket (with a rubber grommet) to unscrew the spark plug.

Once the spark plug is unscrewed, pull out the wrench along with the spark plug.

Ensure that the new spark plug is dry.

Use a gap measuring tool to ensure that the spark plug gap is appropriate.

Attach the new spark plug to the spark plug socket, and finger tighten the new spark plug.

Use the wrench to tighten the spark plug to 45 degrees.

Re-insert the ignition coil.

Use the wrench with the 10 mm socket to tighten the bolt that fastens the ignition coil.

Re-connect the wire connecter to the ignition coil.

Repeat steps for the remaining 3 spark plugs. Reattach the engine cover with the flathead screwdriver.
