Turn off and disconnect the Power Supply on the back of the computer to ensure no electricity is flowing through the computer while being repaired.

Put on an anti-static wristband and attach the alligator clip end to any grounded surface before beginning any work within the computer.

Open the latches on the top and bottom of the RAM sticks

Remove the RAM sticks by pulling them straight out.

Before installing the new RAM sticks, note the location of the indent on the golden part of it.

This indent is there to guide the installation. It lines up with the RAM slots in the motherboard.

Place your RAM into the same slots the damaged ones originated.

Apply an even, significant force on the RAM sticks straight into the motherboard.

Once a audible *CLICK *is heard, STOP applying force.

Repeat steps 1-5, in reverse order.
