Introduzione
The Devialet Gemini, a True Wireless Stereo (TWS) product, can suffer from earwax obstruction of its pipe. It can be noticed by a sound level lowering on one side only (at first), without improvement over time. The high frequencies will be firstly affected, then the medium ones. Perhaps, the earbud affected will produce rattle noises or "dolphin cry" when using ANC (Active Noise Cancellation).
This tutorial results of several dozens of trials of various methods and provides an accessible and robust solution to those who can't activate the warranty anymore.
After performing this, the acoustic performance will only be very slightly affected: around 2dB less punctually around 3kHz (inaudible to most of the listeners) and a very slight stronger (but absolutely acceptable!) sensitivity to ANC instabilities (during ear pull-in or pull-out of the product). Actually, the acoustic mesh removed after this operation seems to be of very small importance in the product design.

Insert horizontally a sharp blade, such as a scalpel or a cutter, within one of the large slits and pull out to remove the metallic grid obstructed by earwax. It is attached with an ultrasound welding method, it should come out rather easily.

Remove the acoustic mesh using the same sharp blade. The acoustic mesh is solely attached to the grid with a circular double-sided adhesive. Throw away the mesh: it is generally difficult to clean it, and once cleaned, it is impossible to attach it correctly to the grid without risk for the speaker. Clean the remaining earwax.

Reposition the metal grid on its original location. Press the grid toward the pipe with a flat and rigid tool in order to force the grips to re-integrate the plastic.
-
This repair should not be done many times on one earbud: while the metal grid will still be solidly attached after one repair, it may not remain firmly after several removal.
If the grid tend to fall, apply a drop of super glue with a toothpick on the periphery of the grid.
