Usa un cacciavite Y000 per rimuovere la vite tri-wing che fissa la piastra di copertura metallica.
Usa delle pinzette per rimuovere la piastra.
Per prima cosa, inclina del tutto la piastra per sganciare le due alette.
Poi richiudila per metà per poterla rimuovere completamente tirandola verso l'esterno.

What if I’m unable to unscrew the screw? I’m using the right tool, but it just won’t do it. It feels like it can’t “lock in” if you know what I mean in order to be able to get enough grip to turn the screw. Any suggestions?

Once you have the driver set properly in the screw you have to lean into it to get it to turn. The screw is coated with LockTight.

Sulla versione con il solo GPS è possibile disconnettere immediatamente la batteria subito dopo aver rimosso la piastra metallica. Nella versione cellulare/LTE per scollegare la batteria devi prima staccare la guarnizione del Force Touch e ripiegarla in modo che non dia fastidio.
Disconnetti la batteria sollevando il suo connettore.
Piega lievemente il connettore per essere sicuro che non si riattivi accidentalmente il contatto.
