Mitch, Garmin just told me they do no sell replacement terminals for this 60CSx. Were you able to find any?

I think I found some terminals from Keystone Electronics…Part Number 5209…Ordered through Mouser Electronics …Have to scroll through their parts list while looking for the Keystone number (2nd column). It does not have the slot in the back so won’t know that it works until I try to assemble.

Would be interesting to know where additional contacts could be purchased. I have had a battery explosion in mine and one of the terminals has corroded.

I have the same problem as all the above. I purchased some of the above replacement contacts Keystone Electronics…Part Number 5209…Ordered through Mouser Electronics and found that I needed a double contact since my bad one was the one that is bridged. I was able to modify the new contact to where it would slide into behind the original bridged contact. While it isn't totally correct it does work.

A couple of hints. My GPS is the Garmin GPSmap 62SC and the screws on the back were 3/32 allen heads and not a phillips. I ruined one of the screw heads and had to drill it out, fun fun. So be aware of what the actual screw head is. I should of gotten the magnifier out before I started.

I purchased 4 Keystone Electronics 5209 Battery Contact Springs w/Lug from the DigiKey.com website. The total cost was under eight dollars. DigiKey is located in Thief River Falls, MN, so the delivery time was quite reasonable.
